An integrated system

Getting it on your wrist was the easy part.

The harder job was making the result feel like a cohesive package, considered enough that you actually want to keep it on.

Perfectly sized to your wrist

The straps arrive uncut, in FKM rubber. Measure your wrist once and cut to length with a pair of scissors: no holes, no half sizes, no excess tail sticking out. You only ever do it once, and a full video tutorial walks you through it.

Metal never sat right against the bioceramic of the Royal Pop, so the covers come in the same material and colour as the case, with the tapisserie texture of the dial. It reads as part of the watch rather than something bolted onto it.

Secure, slim and compact

Secure, slim and compact

The case frame is moulded in TR90 nylon with fiberglass: it flexes enough to click on and off, and once the Royal Pop is seated there is no wiggle and no wobble. It is slim enough that you can still see the octagonal frame from the top and the bottom, and compact enough to fit a 13.5cm wrist.

A different watch by the weekend

The Royal Pop is a playful thing and it should stay that way. The strap-change tool ships in the box: fourteen strap colours, swapped in a couple of minutes, and any case works with any strap. That is 238 combinations.

About the Watch

How do you wear a pocket watch?

On 16 May 2026, Swatch and Audemars Piguet released the Royal Pop — a pop-art reimagining of the Royal Oak as a convertible pocket watch. Eight pocket watches in two case styles: six Lépine (crown at 12) and two Savonette (crown at 3, with small seconds). Each in a different bioceramic colorway, with petite tapisserie dials, the iconic Royal Oak octagonal bezel, and a Sistem51 hand-wound mechanical movement. Priced at USD 400–420.

Available 16 May 2026 at selected Swatch boutiques. One watch per person, per day, per store.

The catch: it is not a wristwatch. It ships with a calfskin lanyard, a clip holder, and a desk stand. To wear it, you put it in your pocket.

For most collectors, that is not enough. A Royal Oak belongs as a wristwatch — that's the whole point. The question on every forum, in every group chat, in every comment section the moment this launched: how do I wear this as a wristwatch?

The most-asked question of the year: how do I wear it?

Questions

Common questions.

Pre-orders ship from late September 2026, and the earlier you order, the earlier yours ships. If the date moves, we'll email you before it, not after.
No. Your watch clips into the case exactly as it clips into the holder it came with. Nothing is glued, drilled or modified, and it comes out the same way it went in.

If the case frame or the clasp cover breaks, we replace it free, for as long as you own it, no questions asked. Beyond that, every wearing part is replaceable: frames, clasps and clasp covers are all available individually, the clasp cover is designed to bend rather than snap, and there are two spares in your Case Kit.

No. Delugs is an independent watch strap company. The case-straps we develop for the Royal Pop are aftermarket — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sold through Swatch or Audemars Piguet. We have a strong track record of building aftermarket solutions for watches that the brands themselves do not service.
Delugs has been a dedicated watch strap company for years, with hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers around the world and flagship boutiques in Singapore and Hong Kong. We're a team of watch enthusiasts who obsess over the small things — stitching, edge finish, taper, on-wrist feel — and our portfolio spans thousands of watch references, including pieces the brands themselves do not support. We also partner directly with watch brands on official strap collaborations. The work in our R&D Track Record above — Tissot PRX, Cartier Santos D-Lock, the Micro-Adjust CTS Clasp — was engineered in-house. Project WristPop is built on the same process we've used for every Delugs product.
Yes — all eight. The six Lépine references (crown at 12) share one case design and the two Savonette references (crown at 3) share another. Pick your reference above and you'll only be shown what fits it.
